OAK’S END COTTAGE

KALEDEN, BC | SINCE 1973

Hosting memories for almost fifty years.

Oak’s End Cottage was built by our family in 1973. Since then, we’ve spent winters, summers and the time in between at our cottage making memories with family and friends.

A different type of four seasons hospitality

Oak’s End Cottage is located at the south end of beautiful Kaleden, BC, perched just above Skaha Lake in the Okanagan Valley. The cottage is perfectly situated for summer swims, rounds of golf, skiing at Apex Mountain or enjoying the vineyard views with a drink.

At the heart of it, Oak’s End is the perfect spot to gather with your closest friends and family, year round.

Float away.

Oak’s End is a lake front property with a private dock that’s perfect for tying up your floatie, tying up your boat, basking in the sun or drying off after a kayak across the lake.

Game. Set. Match.

Family-friendly tennis tournaments have been hosted at Oak’s End since the time of wooden rackets and John McEnroe. Bring a jug of iced tea and enjoy a little friendly competition on the court.

Cottage vibes.

Fifty years and five generations of fun.

  • Enjoy amazing golf courses where our family learned to play.

There are dozens of amazing courses in the Okanagan, but our favourite is Fairview Mountain Golf Club.

  • Linden Gardens

Stunning gardens and a tasty cafe just minutes away.

Take a stroll from Oak’s End up to Linden Gardens and the Frog City Cafe. Go for the garden walk, stay for lunch and come back for a special occasion.

  • Tickleberries Ice Cream

A must-lick in the South Okanagan.

Since 1987, Tickleberries has been serving the absolute best ice cream in the Okanagan. It’s so good, it transcends the seasons.

  • Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory

    Explore far and wide.

The Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory is gem of universal proportions. Exploring the observatory makes for a great adventure into the beautiful hills around Kaleden. Photo credit to Mark Klotz on flickr.

  • Okanagan Wineries

What's a great getaway without great wines?

It’s kind of what we do around here. Oak’s End is surrounded by world class wineries and stunning vineyards (including our own). It’s hard to choose a favourite, but we recommend Skaha Vineyards & Black Market Wine Co.

  • Apex Mountain Resort

Winter is the Okanagan's forgotten season.

Where the wines and golf get all the love, we’ll never forget the winters we spend at Apex Mountain, just 45 minutes from Oak’s End.
